So what have we been learning by playing around with our ‘Bat Balancer’......it’s pretty clear that the bat makers are genius’s!
Whilst the profile/swell can be a 50mm difference between a low profile and a high profile, the balance point is then only 15-20mm different between the same two bats.
The biggest finding so far is just how big a difference an extra grip makes to the balance point of the bat......can be a 20mm change by just adding a grip, meaning the pick up of the bat can change quite a lot!
